In 1948. E. C. Thomas, State Youth Director, and E. W. Williams, Overseer, reorganized the Bible School for a four-week term. This school was moved to the Charlotte Campground in 1949 and increased its term from four to six weeks. Since 1949, until its discontinuation, there was a Bible School on the Charlotte Campground. Over the years, many graduates of the State Bible and Music Institute have gone on to serve as leaders and ministers in local churches.
