Thank you for your interest in serving on the Planning Committee for the 80th Anniversary Reunion Celebration of the first Camp Meeting on the Charlotte Campground!

To better serve you, I am requesting that you complete the brief form below. This will enable us to be as organized as possible before our first meeting and to stay up to date throughout the planning process.

Tentatively, I am looking at a Spring/late Spring 2027 date for the Reunion, and a first Planning Committee meeting in late June/early July. It’s possible the meeting may be held at the Kannapolis Church of God; however, I am waiting for confirmation of the date, time, and location. It’s possible that future meetings could be moved to various locations to help with travel for the committee members.

Using the first two Reunions as a baseline, there will need to be approximately 7-9 in-person meetings. That number could fluctuate based on committee membership. While attendance at all the meetings is not mandatory, I do request that every effort be made to attend as many as possible.

As we get closer to our first meeting, I will share initial thoughts on subjects such as the music program, guest speaker(s), etc.

There is no specific criterion required to serve on the Committee — only a love and respect for our beloved Charlotte Campground and a willingness to serve. ALL ARE WELCOME!
